Today was exciting yet dull . I was so scared of falling down and if I fall down once again, my knee!!! I can't do sports again ; which totally SUCKS. Now, I'm on the brink of recovering which is GOOD news :D. Lemme share some encouraging quotes from my two classmates during the hike.
Jin Jing : "Although the hill is very high , but you can get to the top of it. You are the best one! Believe in yourself!"
Era : "Hang in there! Don't look at it as there is another half to go .. Look at it as it is half-completed."
THANKS guys! Happy to say , conquered bukit timah again :D.
Last year we went there for the bukit timah hike with fellow TAF-ers , Asyraf , Lutfi , Evierel , Li Yang they all .. at the end, I told ASYRAF that next year I'm not COMING for another HIKE, twice is enough .. then he CRAZY one say NEXT year will DRAG me go .. siao ehs!
it was easier compared to this year cus we had came in the morning that time and we all took our time and it didn't RAIN at all .. But it did rain this time in the morning and the grounds were muddy and wet.
When we reached there, I was like, spotting for the EVIL MENACING monkeys LOL , I'm not scared , just HATE them(Hate is a strong word, lets change it to DISLIKE) for snatching away other ppl things.
Den Nithiya and Abinaya told me about a lizard .. WAHHHHS , I'm like scared of lizards , dunno why . Just dun like,i guess.
Many thanks to : Kristal , WenBo , Era(Especially) and two more guys which later I'll say.
They helped us to move across the rocky path. The blindfolded game was tough , i mean human traffic hahas. Era as my group leader , keep helping me out.
Oh yeah , besides teamwork , I learnt something else: You can't judge people by appearance (Ren Bu Ke Mao Xiang) , for example , today we were supposed to pair up: Me and Peixian. Obviously, I'm carrying her la .. she darn heavy and she is like, ==" 39-40 kg. Then i was like, WAAHS , why so heavy haha. Finally we stopped and walked. Her bones big mahhs.
I took a plastic bag cus I guess I forgot about the sling bag thing .. den walk walk take plastic bag = FINE.. den later it was a pain ==" , hnin volunteered and THANKS. Later I had to carry it as well .. den thanks gawd .. I asked joseph to help me take , and he actually agreed: THANKS. After that, I guess after the blindfolding game, WeiJie took it den it was tough to carry it during the rocky path exercise .. after that I took it from it after the path ended. Thanks wor :D.
A lot of thankyous i guess :D... But tmr weatherstudy again .. haiz .. I learnt a lot this year , including balancing schoolwork etc and friendship problems I encountered ..
"There is no use in sticking on to a friendship which is half-broken because FRIENDSHIP takes two HANDS to CLAP .. , RESPECT the other's decision when it is right , like , maybe the friendship should break , just BREAK it and you are as FREE as a bird , i mean like , its no point in keeping a broken friendship, if the friend dunno how to APPRECIATE you , then its her PROBLEM .. Others will surely appreciate all the things you do for THEM!"
"KINSHIP is more important than friendship , but FRIENDSHIP is more impt than LOVE" , if you get my drift thats it.
"Life is funny isn't it , once you figured out how things work , whats the sign of direction you are heading .. the sign of direction changes , everything changes and you gotta figure it out again."
